A new world of Japanese that is fascinated by advanced digital techniques and traditional skill
As a Yuzen kimono artist, I now have the experience of drawing Japanese designs expressed in line drawings (thread glue) for more than 40 years and the skill of using digital tools such as vector data for 20 years. It has become an important technical foundation for this projects.
I am impressed by the exquisite relationship between the traditional techniques of Japanese visuals and modern cutting-edge digital technology.
about me
I have loved traditional Japanese visuals since I was a child. As an adult, I have been doing solo exhibitions in the ancient city of Kanazawa, making traditional kimonos and drawing pictures such as folding screens. After a solo exhibition at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, I became absorbed in drawing traditional Japanese paintings with digital tools (vector data).
For several years, requests for high-quality Japanese design content have increased from all fields. No matter how much the vector data is enlarged, the resolution will not decrease.
For me, traditional paintbrushes and modern digital tools are the same tools. There is no difference in the emotion I want to convey as an artist.
my thoughts
I want to overcome the superficial differences and share the excitement with people from all over the world who have different cultures with my favorite Japanese visuals. Like the closing ceremony of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics! (There, there were athletes who crossed national borders and races and were happy as human beings) The goals I set as a kid haven't changed at all.

I believe that when faced with the beauty of the art, people can be equal beyond all differences.
